Schonen/Skåne Län, Schweden/Sweden/Sverige

Bollerup is small village in Skåne län, about 10 miles or 15 kilometres east of Ystad. It is home of the “naturbruksgymnasiet”, an agricultural institute in the buildings of the ancient castle of Bollerup, and of course a round tower church. It is
the third one on our trip through Skåne, and already after 8 pm when we arrive at the church. I know it is kept locked, and although I have a contact telephone number, we decide - as it is already a bit late - to just take photos of the
outside of the church. It is beautifully situated in the neighbourhood of the naturbruksgymnasiet. The round tower is crowned by a tapered helm roof, a feature it shares with both Hammarlunda and Blentarp churches.
We really enjoy this visit in the Swedish summer sun, and especially the surroundings. A place really worth a detour if you are coming so Skåne.
We will definitely return to this beautifully situated church in the future, and try to see the interior on the next occasion as well.
